My car wouldn’t start, and the lady who answered the phone was incredibly kind, positive, and reassuring. She quickly arranged the help I needed and made a stressful situation much easier. The tow truck driver was just as amazing — super friendly, professional, and patient while handling a potentially difficult tow. Once my car arrived, he even took the time to give me helpful tips about my car, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Don’s Towing to anyone who needs reliable service. Attention: BCAA & Don’s Auto Towing – Kamloops, BC On March 30, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., I was towing a 35-foot fifth wheel out of Monte Lake Resort. While maneuvering between trees on a narrow roadway, the soft shoulder gave way, leaving the trailer nearly resting against a tree. I found myself in a very difficult situation, unable to move forward or backward without risking a rollover. I contacted BCAA and initially requested Don’s Auto Towing; however, Mark from Wild’s Rides Towing in Westwold was dispatched. Mark was courteous and professional, but as he only had a deck truck, we mutually agreed it would likely be insufficient to move such a large trailer. He then referred the call to Don’s Auto Towing. At Don’s, Shawna in dispatch was absolutely wonderful. As I later learned from Chris, Shawna pulled him away from another job to assist me, recognizing the urgency due to the unstable road conditions and the risk of the trailer shifting further. Chris arrived promptly, assessed the situation, and took immediate action to secure the trailer and prevent it from sliding any further down the bank. Working together, we were able to safely recover both the truck and trailer and return them to stable ground, allowing me to exit the area safely. Chris’s communication throughout the process was exceptional. He is an extremely skilled and professional tow operator, and a true asset to the industry. Thank you all for turning what could have been the worst day of my year into a far better experience.
